Our workshops provide opportunities for creatives to learn, create, and grow together in a supportive community. Led by artists, makers, and industry professionals, each session is designed to encourage skill-sharing, creative exploration, and meaningful connection.
Workshops can be educational—covering topics such as website development, logo design, marketing strategies, grant writing, or other professional development skills—or hands-on and creative, including watercolour painting, mending, printmaking, and a wide range of artistic practices. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, exchange ideas, share experiences, and connect with others in the creative community.
Whether held online or in person, our workshops are designed to inspire collaboration, build confidence, and support artists at every stage of their creative journey.

Embroidery Workshop for Beginners
In this three-hour guided workshop, participants will learn three basic embroidery techniques, followed by some practice time; finally, participants will be given a challenge, where they are to embroider a word that means something significant to them.
This workshop is facilitated by artist Ana Salazar. “Ana is a Brazilian artisan based in Montreal, Canada. A lifelong lover of handmade crafts, she has practiced embroidery since 2018, finding in it a way to slow down in a world that never stops. She invites us to discover her creations in an open, unhurried way. In this workshop, she will guide you through a calm, hands-on session where you'll learn and practice basic embroidery stitches and go home with a decorative piece of your own making.”
