My Friend Frankie is named in memory of my dear friend, Helene “Frankie” Springer, who passed away from brain cancer in June 2021. Frankie was the person who stood by me when I needed support the most. She encouraged me to find stability, to explore art and writing, and to trust in my creative path.

This network was created as a way to continue our creative friendship — to carry forward the kindness, strength, and inspiration she gave me. Through My Friend Frankie, I hope to support others the way Frankie supported me: by building community, uplifting creativity, and reminding people that there is strength in grief — that pain can be transformed into passion and power.
